Cottonwoods, willows, and tall grasses are signs of a healthy river ecosystem.

Just over 550 acres along both sides of Victory Ranch's Upper Provo River have been placed into a conservation easement that is held and managed by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. This easement ensures that our river corridor will be permanently protected from development.

As part of the easement, we've moved our cattle away from the river to allow wild animals to freely inhabit their natural home. And they do. In addition to a great blue heron rookery, bald eagles also nest within this preserve that is shaded by tall grasses and giant cottonwood trees.

"We need the tonic of wildness. . . We can never have enough of nature." - Thoreau
